Our team of healthcare professionals works together to develop a customized treatment plan for regaining your independence. Then they work with you - providing skilled instruction - as well as compassionate support, motivation and inspiration. We also provide comprehensive discharge planning, which may include home assessments for modification and equipment recommendation. Family training and education are also available to help the people closest to you to become even stronger sources of support in your recovery.

Physical Therapy

Occupational Therapy

therapyOur occupational therapists are skilled in helping residents achieve the highest possible levels of independence. Programs are developed after a careful physical and functional needs assessment and are designed to reduce limitations and expand capabilities, including:

  • Improving behavioral skills and perceptual/cognitive abilities
  • Learning self-care skills
  • Hand strengthening/coordination
  • Homemaking
  • Daily living skills

Speech-language Therapy

Our speech-language pathologists have the proven ability to improve our residents' thinking, listening and speaking skills as well as a number of other cognitive abilities. We are also capable of diagnosing and treating:

  • Articulation problems
  • Language disorders
  • Apraxia
  • Aural/hearing issues
  • Voice disorders
  • Cognitive communication disorders

Speech-language pathologists also evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and make recommendations for safe diets.
