Making life as care-free and enjoyable as possible
At Maine Veterans' Homes, we understand and appreciate the physical, mental and emotional strength required to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. We realize that veterans are proud individuals who were trained to overcome obstacles and never give up without a fight. Our staff's respect for your personal integrity makes any one of our five modern facilities a pleasant place to call home.

Visits from Volunteers
Many of our residents especially appreciate the time and efforts made by our exceptionally active base of volunteers. Individuals from the many veterans' service organizations, as well as the community at large make regular visits to our facilities. In addition to visiting with residents, volunteers also perform several services such as bingo calling and reading newspapers out loud - little things that have proven to make a big difference in the lives of our residents.
